Pequignet: Royal Green Model 9010193 AG

Unparalleled accuracy, hand-assembled indisputable beauty.

Peguignet, is a luxury independent French watch brand founded in 1973 by Emile Pequignet.

With a strong history and wonderful backstory the brand has had a profound impact on honouring traditional French watch making, design practices and techniques. Creators of the patented Royal Calibre in-house movement, they wisely chose the conscious decision to uphold and progress with fine horology of traditional mechanical movements, and also work with, rather than be destroyed by the quartz crisis of the 1970’s.

Today, from their workshops in the heart of Morteau, France they are the strength behind some of the most exciting innovative mechanical and quartz timepieces. Ranging in strong, pure aesthetic, perfectionist vision and price point. Their his /her collections each add that privileged sense of status to your style.

Born out of the belief that no luxury is too indulgent this hand-assembled, rich green sunray model exhibits prosperity, whilst exuding a gentlemanly virality with its opulent cognac coloured artisan alligator bracelet.

Part of the Rue Royal collection its prototyped Royal Calibre showcases a story of impeccable technical excellence with its totally French designed, built and rigorously tested in-house movement. Inspiring and informing it’s powered by the natural motion of the wrist and has an impressive 88 hour off the wrist power reserve, beautifully displayed in a stylised arc. Just next to this Pequignet have wisely placed a smaller second dial for premium accuracy.

Appealing to connoisseurs of art and serious watch collectors every nuance of this green jewelled beauty is vibrant yet soothing, starting with its aristocratic polished 316L stainless steel case, sapphire protected transparent case-back, silver minute scale, plus matching indices and luminescent alpha hands. Especially impressive is the high-endadorning Côtes de Genève decoration. Equipped with 39 rubies it’s a praiseworthy, highly desirable timepiece designed for the gentleman with a passion for embracing each moment of life.

Anchoring the heritage of great French watchmaking there is no shortage of talent at the Pequignet’s Haute Horlogerie laboratories in Morteau, France.
