Spanning the Atlantic Ocean, this historical treasure of a timepiece the Sempher & Adhuc L’IMMÉDIATE – TRANSATLANTIQUE bridges the gap between old and new in a beautifully different manner. Rich in heritage the case back eyecup reveals a meticulously restored Bulova movement, manufactured between 1936 and 1975. Beautifully decorated, awe inspiring and hand wound this series 5 movement is extraordinary in its exquisiteness and origins; designed and drafted in Switzerland to be completed and assembled in the United States. Now, decades on - faithfully restored to preserve the unique heritage by master craftsman and founder of Sempher & Adhuc, Colin de Tonnac.

Changing the course of watchmaking history, the L’IMMÉDIATE – TRANSATLANTIQUE is a wondrous three-way collaboration between Sempher & Adhuc , founder of American watch publi​cation Beyond the Dial and approval of Bulova to develop the vintage concept. Focused on delivering a genteel timepiece of the highest quality, production is strictly limited to a small volume of just 20 pieces.

Hand assembled each cushion shaped timepiece comes with a unique serial number and option of personalised engraving. Crafted in brushed satin 316L stainless steel the Transatlantique has a 37mm case that's water resistant to 30m, a 36-hour power reserve, and, strengthening that special personalised relationship with the owner the choice of left or right crown orientation. Engraved with the fine brands logo it has a partial notching on 240°.

Feeling special whilst living up to its namesake, the softly squared dial takes on a blue, white and red, theme to showcase the special relationship between France and the United States. With a commitment to exceptional, the finesse of the stick shape hands circle a multicultural way of reading time with white and red time markers.

The caskets are made of machined cork and decorated with golden heated cardboard. The watch is held in its secure position thanks to a smart japanese clip. You will also find with your time keeper its instruction manual, as well as the certificate of international guarantee. The necessary tool to change your bracelet will also be included.

For their manufacturing, the Semper & Adhuc workshop has chosen to work in partnership with a leather craftsman from Bordeaux, Mr. Vincent Jacquinot. All the leathers used are of french origin, specifically selected for our watches, so that we could offer a range of high quality, which traceability is controllable.
